More I learned on x, but what about the kids?
June 17, 2007
Scott Hanselmann has another article reminiscing about typing in every character out of BASIC game books, and asking the question of what about today’s kids? There are some good links and ideas in the article and comments. One of the youth of today answers in the comments that he used Deitel’s C++ book. (Well, actually he’s one of the youth of 4 years ago reminiscing about CRTs and expensive broadband – which illustrates another universal.) That may be beyond the Kindergarten scope. The suggestion at the heart of the article is emulating a C64.
